Paranormal Investigations

Welcome to My Minds Eye Paranormal Investigations

Hi,
My name is Sherry and I am the founder of My Minds Eye Paranormal in Lansing, which is in Leavenworth County in Kansas. Leavenworth has a rich history to be explored, and a good share of Paranormal activity as well. Our group is interested in all of these aspects. We also reach out to the community to bring other interested people together and keep them informed on what is going on in our area.

It is our goal to research and document Paranormal activity, and to be of assistance to anyone experiencing activity, as well as to help them in any way that we can.We come in with equipment geared to conduct a professional investigation and procure documentable evidence. We approach these investigations using logic to rule out all activity that may have a non-paranormal cause first, only when all the possibilites for natural or environmenal conditions have been explored, and proved or disproved, can a conclusion of "paranormal" be drawn. Client privacy is very important to us, and our clients receive a full report of any activity that is found at their location, paranormal or otherwise.

What I bring to the table is years of experience in the field of Facility Management. I can tell you why water turns brown, how lights turn theirselves off and on, and why you might think you hear a cat wailing in the ventilation system, just to name a few scenarios that I have experienced over the years.

Thanks for sharing this. I was not aware that this existed in the county, but have heard of such places before. It is nice to see that they are taking steps to preserve the resting pace for all of these people. Do you know if there are any plans t...
I wonder how long it will take them to deplete the ghost supply in Florida before they are forced to move on to other parts of the country. And to think that Genies were the only ones that had usable living space issues.....
Sorry that I haven't been on for a while, I have just been running around since school let out. The oldest child is taking violin lessons, we have been at the pool almost everyday that it hasn't rained, 3 trips to Six Flags and a trip to K.C. to v...
Oh, no no no! Ha ha! No! I'm no surfer. I've tried and already figured out that it's not for me, or rather, I'm not capable of surfing. Big Surf, on the other hand, is a reasonably good water park down at the Lake of the Ozarks. I haven't been th...

It's a little different, at most these guys are a nuisance, they really can't do any harm to the site. That's part of why I love this platform!

Hi Sherry. It's been a long time. I have been so busy with Akasha up to my eyeballs. Vickie & Jeff were great people to be set up with & we continue our involvement. Vickie was just here Friday going over an EVP session we had that produced 4-5 different voices. It was the most amazing experience I've ever had. As far as visual that night the only thing we all saw was this purple flash of light lasting a few seconds about the size of a softball so I thought the audio would be a snooze but WOW! I have never experienced or even heard of anyone ever having an EVP session like that. I have the ability to hear whispers thing going for me but it was hardly needed. 4-5 different voices that answered our questions directly for almost 45 minutes! A very intelligent haunt indeed. Right now I'm in talks with another group about consolidating our groups because we're both on overload. We'd still be seperate names but will work together on follow ups and fresh insight. We seem to have the same interests & goals and both of our groups are strictly home investigators. Looks like you guys are having fun and growing. Say hi to your daughter for me. -Sher

I want to go on the dinner with a ghost they have in KC as well. I think it was a little more expensive than the basic tour but possibly worth it... Let's all go on a tour though! How fun would that be? We could go on the Lawrence one this time maybe?

Back From Vacation

I am back from vacation and feeling refreshed and renewed!

We had a great trip, nine days of riding to different locations in Tenn, NC, Georgia, and MO. It was wonderful to hang out with our friends and tour the countryside. Some of the highlights were Graceland, Lynchburg, and Nashville, High on the list was the was taking some of our buddies through the biker's "right of passage", Deals Gap, 318 curves in 11 miles on the side of a mountain, once you have navigated that, you can handle… Continue

The Cigarette "Electric"

Over 2 weeks tabacco free and I am still amazed at this thing! The E-Cig or "electronic cigarette" is like the little wonder I always knew someone would come up with, but I never thought it would be in my lifetime. In the last 10 years I have tried every stop smoking system to come down the pike, (well, except for acupuncture and hypnotism, that is-yikes!), with varying levels of success until the ultimate and inevitable fall off the wagon. Six months or so ago I finally announced to my family t… Continue

What are you afraid of?

Since the first of the year , Bill and I have been going to the gym 3 times a week and working out. (Ok, the Dr had a little to do with this new incentive in our lives, it wasn't a totally original idea.) But our goal is to lose about 30 lbs each. Bill has a pretty good routine but most of what I do is walk and hit the bikes. It has been a struggle some days but I am up to about 3 mile walk each time now and it is a real crunch for the last one. At first it was a little intimidating when you hav… Continue

The Unexpected Visitor

I scanned the rows of boxes strewn and stacked in what was now my new living room,
I looked around thinking how often I had admired it on our visits there. A friend of ours had built this house you see, from foundation to chimney top. Not only was he a skilled craftsman, but since he was building it for himself, he had spared no expense in the materials, and used only the best. It was meant to last him a lifetime and he and his wife put a lot of thought into the features they wanted.

Now, I don… Continue
