The Cigarette "Electric"

Over 2 weeks tabacco free and I am still amazed at this thing! The E-Cig or "electronic cigarette" is like the little wonder I always knew someone would come up with, but I never thought it would be in my lifetime. In the last 10 years I have tried every stop smoking system to come down the pike, (well, except for acupuncture and hypnotism, that is-yikes!), with varying levels of success until the ultimate and inevitable fall off the wagon. Six months or so ago I finally announced to my family that I quit "quitting"! It was just more stress on top of what I already had, so I surrendered!

A few weeks ago I spotted this electronic wonder in the store, and mullled it over before deciding to try it, the cartridges use an atomizer to deliver nicotine using glycerin to make smoke or "vapor" by use of a battery, it looks like a cigarette, the end lights up, and there is "smoke" when you puff. It assimilates so easy that many people didn't realize that I wasn't smoking a regular cigarette for over a week out in the smoking area at work. I think all of that has made it easier for me to transition over to this "cancer free" cigarette. (The stuff causing the cancer isn't the nicotine in the cigarette, it's the tabacco and additives.) Now I have all the pleasure and none of the guilt - for a hard core smoker like me, this is a dream come true.

I find more positives than negatives on this one everyday, first I don't have to avoid my smoking friends because I can stand right along with them and puff away, and there is no mess, no smell, and my hair doesn't get burned when the wind is blowing! LOL!

I know it is nt going to be for everyone, but it is definitely working for me!
